2000 ford V-8 van Sign In

Hi folks, I have a 2000 tritan v8 ford van with a leaking head gasket,Im no rookie I am 25 years in Jeep+ Dodge and a ASE master tech but I would like to know on a scale of 1 to 10 what kind of a job is this head gasket?Thanks for any help.

Probably close to the same as a Dodge van with a V8. You should have no problems. Just remember to replace the head bolts. They are torque to yield.

Hay-Way2,thanks for that info.this van belongs to a relative and 2 shops have turned it down so I was a bit gunshy.I did'n'tthink it looked that bad but you never know!All the brands have there little quirks ya know.And remember the thing that comes with age is the ultimate satisfaction of knowledge and sharing it with others!
