vibrations when stopped

I drive a 2000 Mazda 626 with approx 165,000 kilometers on it. It is a 2.5L engine. My car has started to vibrate when I'm stopped at red lights, stop signs etc. It also vibrates when it is in park in the garage. It doesn't vibrate while driving at a normal speed though, or maybe it is just unnoticable. It isn't a constant vibration, it comes and goes every few seconds. I believe it started to happen after I had my timing belt changed, could things have been put back in incorrectly? I also run two amps in my car to power my car stereo, could it be the alternator dying that is causing the off and on vibrations?? just some thoughts I really have no idea. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks.

Since this happened right after the timing belt job I'd take it back and have that checked out, T

if im not mistaken, that car is FWD, mechanic may have disassembled the motor mount on front side to lift the engine and get better access. pop the hood while the engine is running and take a look at all the engine mounts. just make sure 1. the bolt is there 2.is tight and not excessively worn. __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
