service 4x4 light comes on

2002 gmc 2500 4x4 6.0 liter the light doesnt come on until I drive above 80 kilometer an hour. The truck goes into 4 wheel drive
when the light isn't lit up but when the light comes on it doesn't go in to 4 wheel drive.

Need to take it to a shop that has a scanner that can access the TCCM to see what trouble code(s) it is storing.
Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
