I am trying to remove the power steering pump pulley with a pulley removal tool but it will not budge. I have put penetrating oil on it but it does not help. Any suggestions on what to try?

That is the tool I have. The pulley will not budge. Should i try a torch to heat the metal?

No, your just not tightening it enough. If the pulley hasn't broken or the puller hasn't stripped, then you just need to tighten more.

Obviously, make sure it's not bolted on since i don't know what your working on..

Well I got an eight foot chain link post and put it on the end of my wrench and removed the pulley. I would have never thought it would take that much force to remove it. That was one tough job. Thanks for your help.
