If I'm going to give practical advice, it is going to be this. Do not waste your time and money having someone else take out your exhaust manifold and cylinder head just remove broken off or stuck bolts in your exhaust manifold. I solely rely on using KAP exhaust manifold bolt repair kits. I own a shop and for those who do not want to put them in themselves, I'll install them for them. It is way easier on me and way cheaper on the customer. Incase you were wondering, they should fit all gm truck, suv, g-series vans, hummers, etc with many different motor sizes. All it takes is a phone call.

Interesting. Had to pull the driver's head on a 6.0L Yukon because it had an exhaust leak and two broken bolts. Sent the head to the machine shop because we were not going to free drill them out and possibly destroy the head in the process. Come to find out the machine shop had one heck of a time getting them out because the factory bolts are encapsulated. This looks like a great fix for a DIY on a pinch.

Neat product. I can see the appeal for those who do not have or aren't real good with a welder.
