Need help with fuel pump

I have a 01 chevy silverado 1500 4.8. I have removed the old fuel pump the harness on truck has black, grey and green grey wires. its a 2 connection pump. i purchased a airtex pump, with the same connection. the new pump, has a black wire, purple wire, grey wire, and a thin orange wire with a black stripe on it I need to know how to wire the pump correctly. id appreate some help thank You ,,, Rob

Rob; First, I'd take the Airtex pump back. Otherwise, you'll be doing this job again. The aftermarket pumps, and some OE, usually come with additional adapters (plugs with wires) because GM liked keeping us on our toes, I guess. Seriously, though, buy an OE pump, or at least a Bosch replacement. Those are the only two that I'll sell.
