Usually what happens on those is the inside door handle lever bends. When it does that you have to pull harder on it to open the door. Eventually it will break from being pulled and bending too much. Replacing the inside door handle usually solves that issue. As for the outside door handle they usually break and the handle flops around. Did you make sure the lock rod was installed properly? Try pulling the inside door handle further back. You might get lucky and open the door. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

If you use the key on the outside door lock, does it feel like the lock cylinder rod is connected? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Hmm... your going to have to remove the door panel to get in there and see what happened. There is a chance you may end up breaking the panel getting it out. Haven't done an inop latch on one of those that requires getting the panel off with the door closed, so can't really give you any advice other than if you can pry the top of the panel from the window belt molding, you might be able to get it back enough to get in there. For whatever reason a door won't open I have no luck at not breaking sometime to get in there. I think most of that panel will just pull off, just plastic zip things, not certain but likely - T
