Hi, My 2002 GMC Envoy (4.2 L6, 154000kms) has been sitting in my driveway for a few weeks, gas prices--need I say more? I do drive it around the block every week. This week I started it, within a few minutes the check engine light came on. A few more minutes I started smelling gas. I look under the truck and it was pissing gas. I shut the truck off and it stopped. I haven't yet tried anything, I just wanted to be better informed if I have to bring it in Thanks for any help.....

Wheh! Seems early but is rust a factor with this yet? Pretty sure fuel filter and lines are still subject to problems along fuel rail underside on frame. Sounds nuts - any chance someone cut a line to take fuel? I've been hearing of that! If on asphalt watch out as the gas will hurt the pavement. Not sure how to advise as to whether you want to with it's location just turn key to just "run" positiion just a second to see right where it's coming from - your call or tow it! You said it's squirting so it's fuel under pressure from pump no doubt and either a rust problem or connection went bad somehow?? All caution of course with this. PLEASE DON'T PARK IT INSIDE A GARAGE! T
