Chevy 350 (1971 Cheyenne) initial start from cold idle very high and runs semi-rough (occasional pops at exhaust/seem to here occasional knock). After 15-20 mins (warmed) shut it down and restart, idle very low and may occasionally stall when in gear...not so bad in park or nuetral. Any idea what this might be?

Will need a complete carb check up, clean and adjustments as needed to carb, choke pull off check and adjust, and any vacuum leaks found and fixed just for starters,

Thanks Tom-
I did a restoration over the winter and did remove the carb (amoungst many other items), that and possible vacuum were my 1st thoughts. I will give it a try. Pick of the new bed installed.
