Hey all...

So, I am about to buy a 1987 Ford Ranger that's in pretty good condition. The only problems are needs new rear brake pads and a new paint job. My question is sort of odd....as of rght now, I'm planning on stripping the paint the old fashion way using sanders and an air compressor. But a friend of mine told me he knows a guy that used acetone and a powerwasher and the paint came right off....

I was just wondering what everyone thought??? Thanks for any and all advice!!!!! Smile

I'd be concerned that any type paint stripper might remove paint to make bare metal unseen in spots and become a rust problem later,
