Thats due to the "Golden"touch. My personal experiance has been to go with an independant shop rather than a chain . The workmanship is as good if not better. And you dont have a bunch of underpaid workers trying to sell you a service that you may or may need not so that they can make a living. Ask around , check with BBB.Get a writtten warranty that spells out what is and is not covered.

Thanks guys, I decided to spend $18 for Angie's list for a year. Found an independent that has good reviews. Thanks
