Car start at full throttle

The other day when i was dring my car all of sudden the engine just went to full throttle without accelerated. After that every time i start up the engine does the same( full throttle). What went wrong? Does it cost alot to fix ( it is NOVA 1986 4 cyl)

Don't fool around getting this fixed! Check with engine off and key out that the throttle cable is free and moves from both engine side and gas pedal. If you see the problem go ahead and fix it. If not GET PRO HELP as this is just too dangerous. Stay safe, T
