I have a 1997 chev ck1500 replaced fuel pump two years ago. replaced fuel filter last week. Engine service light on but technician at autozone scanned it and siad it was an emission issue. Now it is hard to start when cold. If I pour a small amount of gas into the throttle body it will start and run fine. After being off for a little while, two hours or so It is hard to start again. put seafoam motor treatment in but no improvement. any suggestions?

Seems like you didn't get a code but there's one there. It's probably something to do with a temp sensor and the truck thinks the engine is warmer than it is, T
