I've changed oil a bazillion times but today for the first time did so on a 97 Honda CRV. Wow. Buried deep behind and unable to get enough leverage to undo. Not enough room to get the filter wrench on there. Tried by hand and it was simply too tight + there just wasn't much room to operate. Anyone dealt with this and have any particular advice? Thanks.

I did one today with a 2.0 and you have to reach through the right wheel well with filter pliers.

That's what I was looking for. Sounds like it will work. Thank you.
