So the companion cyl's are 1&4 and 2&3 those fire at the same time. A defective coil pack could kill just one set of those pairs BUT so could the primary not recieving the ICM signal due to..well...a lot of things...... I'm not a big fan of tossing parts at a problem without checking it out 1st but it wouldn't be the 1st coil pack I've seen go bad.........AND it wouldn't be the 1st time I've seen someone toss on a new coil & still have the same problem.....
