crankshaft sensor location Sign In

Hello, can someone tell me where the crankshaft sensor is located on my 1998 ford explorer, 5.0, 4x2 Trouble shooting codes point in that direction. We've just moved and my repair books lost in move (with other stuff but that's another story). It's late and I can't look tonight but would like to know exactly where to look in the am. If you have a piture with location would be great. Hammer and Tom you guys have been big help in past. Thanks, Randy
Randy

It's on the timing cover behind the crank pulley.
