Part help! Sign In

Good morning all,
I have a 1984 chevy C20 pickup and I'm looking for an emissions part called the throttle lever actuator that is bolted to the carb. I have looked high and low but can't find this part. I need it in order to pass smog here in California. Can anyone help me find one or know if I can rebuild it?

This? Did you try calling some of the carb shops? There are bunches of them on the internet. Maybe one of them might have one laying on the shelf.

Not personally, but if you Google "carburetor parts", you'll get a whole bunch of results.

Hi Tom,

Sorry for replying in the wrong thread. Actually I didn't find any thread stating "introduce your self". Will take care from the next time.
As I also supposed to have help from the active member and find the topic as " Part Help". So, have introduced myself to it and stated my willings.

Re: Part help! Sign In

Daniel,

Everyone here started new at some point at this place. I was first to this VOLUNTEER site with constant contact with ownership. Have made not one cent and do this because I want to.

Read first and look for dates. This thread was from January - it's April now so forget those. Format here changed totally in 2005 and needs another IMO.

I suggest clearing out all the yellow flags and pay attention to the new ones at your next visit. Read anything you want as many do. Some get locked on purpose by a team of moderators to keep the place clean and spam free as this type of forum is exposed to crap.

If the sign up was too difficult nobody would come here. It's is not out there to make money - I know that but the ads are needed to get by.

Been here since 2002 but site was totally reset in 2005. Still needs some work out of my control as it's not mine whatsoever.

**********************

If you have some motive here than it's the wrong place. There are other sites out there by the tons. Regualars come and go as they please and do. Moderator stated after someone's name means they are entrusted to police the site and preserve it. Yes we watch carefully to keep it both clean and not get spammed to death.

Site is in English and open to anywhere in the world that can register. No info collected here on anyone but it's archived.

Pretty free for about anyone to use. If all wrong users can be thown out,

Just know and read first then suggest what you may know but don't take everying said as the perfect explaination of a problem,

Tom

Let me also add that if you have no knowledge or experience on the subject, then refrain from posting at all. Your advice about applying WD40 before painting was ridiculous.
