Late service Sign In

I have just done a deal to trade in my old car with my car dealer. I have got home to realise I missed my service. I know the dealer will probably service it all before they sell it on but should I be worried that it could now effect my deal or does the dealer just take the old car in the condition they find it?

Re: Late service Sign In

Have you already negotiated all prices and costs for this transaction? If yes - leave it alone just know they must expect your trade vehicle to be as they appraised it when they did if not it's still hanging. Give them a break if you came back with different wheels, new damage or something new since they saw it.

Exact rules for and at exact point of sale you should have in writing now. Don't touch it, it belongs to them to deal with.

Side note: Be nice and leave any spare keys, owners manual and info on systems/features it has OE or aftermarket the trade has with it for the next person who ends up with it,
T
