If Alldata is too complicated for you, how do you expect to diagnose an electrical problem on today's vehicles if you have trouble figuring out Alldata? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

IDK on this for any biz. Are you ready at all for any type biz. #1: should have enough to cover all expenses and cover yourself for a year or so before expecting to be cash positive. Are you working now for a place to see how much bull it takes before you so much as touch the vehicle? On your own it's tons harder and more work than just what you are in biz for. Vehicle repair worse than most by far, T

Alldata is definitely web based now. I am sure Mitchell is too. I remember using the DVD roms. That got to be a huge pita. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

You may try AutoRepair cloud. One of my friends started to use it a few weeks ago. As I know, they provide free trial for several month.

You can send links via PM, but not post them on the open forum. Keeps down spam and advertisers that pay for ads here getting angry that other people's sites get posted up for free.
