Advice on Whether to Learn How To Fix a Car or Not Sign In

Hey guys just wanted to ask you guys for some advice. Do you think it is worth learning how to fix a gas powered car and how to fix an engine? Despite the fact that several places around the world are looking to eliminate that technology and go full electric or some other source?

Expecting Nostradamus (sp?) for this are you? I say learn BOTH. There's still a clear fatal flaw with non liquid fuel burning engines whatever that liquid is. Electric alone still has a hurdle it don't work for crap when cold - like subzero big time not insanely hot. Hmmm? Now what?
Don't forget the whole rest of a moving machine will be higher tech controlled but still need a power source to get to a destination and get back.
In short - learn both the fuel itself could change I can't think of anything (space things) that don't burn something to propel it. Piston engines took hold first and just my own thoughts now way over 125 years in use still using them most! IDK why just nothing total could overtake that one concept the fuel did change - steam, from water boiling on up still piston engines.

Keep in mind electrical anything fails right now just try putting something in your freezer see how well it works or worse in an oven. Lots to think about still,
