Iam a new driver and I recently over shot a turning and bumped into a wall. It has left a medium dent and paint scratches in the front right bumpers. Can this be repaired or made to look less of an eye sore on the car by not using my insurance to repair it? any suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you.

Wow... this is like de ja vu for me. I've been down this road at least 3 times now To answer you question, most of the time there is no real easy, cheap fix with body work. Now I'm assuming this is a "plastic" bumper. I will tell you, I believe it was daughter #2 that did the same thing (only it was sister's van & not a wall) and left a pretty bad looking round round dent in the bumper.....This was during the summer, went out on one 100+ day & the dent had popped out due to the heat & all you could see was 2 little scratches. I don't know what your dent looks like but some can be popped out with a suction cup or combination of cold & heat... hope this helps & don't get down on yourself . . . PS... you're grounded

yeah it is a plastic bumper so hopefully it will just 'pop' back out but i keep having to remind myself that it could look alot worse! as it is my first car it probably wont be my last little bump. thank you for your advice, it really cheered me up! now is the question to owning up about the just about standing wall outside the church with my cars paint on it...
