10-30 verses 5-20

Just changed the oil on a 2014 Kia Optima, 2.4L The owners manual said to use, at least an option to use, 5-30 or 10-30 weight oil. So I did. Cleaning up after the change, I noticed that the cap said use 5-20. What! I'm convinced, at least for the summer, the 10-30 syn I put in the car is good. Am I safe to assume this?

The only options for that car are 5W20 or 5W30 I wouldn't be too concerned for the summer but get it out before it gets cold. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
