2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 3.0L-V6

Would a cold compression test be reliable or completely inaccurate?

I set out to do normal operating temperature compression test but it rained half way through removal of upper intake manifold and engine cooled. Considered re-installing everything and trying again but some bolts broke off in manifold which made it impossible.

If doing the whole enchilada just note the temps - IMO the info is mostly valid but adjust down if known cold,

That really depends on what your looking for. It will make small differences in the test results but if you are looking for a large problem, it will still be there.
