transmission removal

 I have a 1999 pontiac sunfire 2.2 manual 5 speed transmission.141,423 miles.
I have been trying to locate a video with removal & installation instructions for the transmission but,I have had no luck!
The manuals @ the auto parts stores do not have it either!?(in the books).
Can someone out there give me some help!?

Neil; This is not an easy job to try and do at home. The transaxle assembly has to come out and the engine must be supported during the process. But, if you really want to tackle the job, your public library should have professional manuals that give step by step instructions. I prefer Mitchell or Motors manuals, but Chiltons are okay. Heck, you could look at several different ones and be the judge. The library will let you photocopy the pages that you need.
