transmission concern 2000 b2500 truck Sign In

i am looking at buying a 2000 b2500 4cy truck with 168 k, when driving on frwy we noticed slipage in going from 3 to 4th gear. it is automatic transmission. concerned if we buy this would be a major expense to repair. any advise would be helpful

There are plenty of vehicles for sale. I would skip that one and look at another. That is my opinion. That kind of mileage and slippage, your surely looking at a transmission overhaul or replacement.
