I have a 1988 GMC sierra ext. cab 4x2. two years ago i had the 350 eng. and 700r4 rebuilt and had a new torque converter and after market cooler put in my question is one day i was driving and it went threw all the gears and went into the lock up and came back out and never went back in is the problem in my ecu or tcc clutch solinoide.

This could be an electrical problem, mechanical problem, or a fluid problem. First, check the fluid level. If ok, you will need to check power to the TCC solenoid, resistance of solenoid, PCM ground to solenoid.
