toyota avensis gearbox

i have a toyota avensis 1.8 vvti manual 2002 can i put in a toyota avensis 2.0 vvti 2001 gearbox with no problem

check with a salvage yard. They have interchange manuals that will tell them what can bolt up to what. Sometimes it even tells why it won't, and if its a slight mod you are able to make to fit things it might be helpful to you. But at least you will know.
