Ok heres a good first post ive got a 2001 chevy impala 3.8l v6 4t65-e transaxle the concern is at fwy speeds 3rd or 4th gear with the tcc applied if you accelerate lightly
the engine surges when Im monitering the tcc pwm apply rate the duty cycle goes from aprox 80% down to 2-3% and back up this cycling corosponds with the surging this problem
is definitely in the trans as the surging only occurs when the tcc is engauged the torque convertor and tcc pwm solenoid have been replaced the problem is still present after
these repairs after driving for a while car flags a p1811 max shift adapts code this is the only code I have my thought is i may have a valve body concern or the pcm is giving me problems
anyone with thoughts?
