speedometer problems

i have a 1997 buick lesabre custom 3.8 v6 i was having speedometer problems some times it would work some times it would not work sometimes it would just read wrong like you coul be running 60 and it would read 30 i put a new speed sensor in last nite and it worked fine today its back to its old self not working then working and so on any ideas what it could be wrong with it now thanks

A speed sensor is about the only DIY repair that is easy to do...... If this didn't fix it, you are going to need to get a schematic of the circuit and start tracing voltages and verifying grounds....
