So our 2006 A/T pt cruiser with under 20K miles one day just started this clicking noise, took it to a shop and they pointed out the noise is coming from the tranny, and they couldn't hypothesis what it might be without committing to the full monty. understandable, but i figure some expert out there/here might at least have an idea of what trouble our car is in before we get a shop to do their thing. It sounds like something is making contact with the dust cover at the flywheel. I asked if anyone had the starter out which could have disturbed the covers.
