i have a 1986 mazda B 2000 truck , dont know engine size , it has a manual trans and has about 155.000 miles on it . i dont know any of its past history i bought it a month ago , anyway i get in it today and put in gear and as i let the clutch out it made a short chattering grinding type noise like the ones you hear from bad bearings, the noise and vibration transmits through the clutch pedal and i can feel it , it done this almost every time i came to a stop and used first and second gear and even gave a little trouble going into reverse sort of like the clutch was not disengaging all the way, could this be the through out bearing or more like the clutch and preassure plate , oh and it is a hydrolic clutch . the noise pretty much stoped once the clutch was fully let out during shifting but occured about midway of letting it out , this does not sound good and feels like it may get worse very quick .

OK: A typical standard trans is using a "throw-out" bearing to disengage engine from trans and spins at the speed of the pressure plate. I guess if one is really sticky and making noise as you said it may still be letting engine power to the trans so that could explain the hard to shift. It's just dead weight when foot off clutch so really couldn't make a noise.
Typical is also a bushing only usually where front shaft of trans centers in crankshaft and that is an acting bearing with clutch pushed down holding that front shaft is relatively still (actually still when stopped) and those can usually squeal when they are the trouble.
It does take removing trans - not too bad on a RWD if not 4X4. A pro should be able to just listen and tell you exactly what is needed,
