jeep shifting problems

i have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee with the 4.0 and auto tranny, i purchased this vehichle with little info on it, got it cheap, the problem is that the transmission wants to keep shifting up and down all the time in drive, i can manually shift it and its better, i changed the filter and added lucas oil transmission treatment with no results.
