i have a 1990 acura integra gs 4 cyl. first my trans went out so i got one from a junk yard i ended up getting 3 before i found a place that checked them first when i had it put in all the gears worked but it has a s3 and s4 gear it will go in s3 and drive but when i mash the button to shift from s3 to s4 it will not shift also the s3 light is always flashing on the dash when it is in other gears.and the speedometer does not work now is it the way the guy put it in or is it the trans. what can i do to fix it?

At this point I think I would opt for a tranny shop, bite the bullet & get it fixed correctly...
In the past I have suggested taking a shot on a used trans and it's a total gamble. If it works great, if not it was worth a shot.....
3 Tranny's?????? and having problems with a 4th........ Man that's a lot of work....... I would've been b*tchin about doing it a 2nd time...... .
I'll have to agree with the subject line......Not trying to be mean but this guy is a dummy if he's put in 4 used trannys
