fixed control arm1999 Cougar now tranny broke

i replaced the passenger side lower control arm and tie rod ends due to an accident. drove it home from accident site. now transmission won't turn axle on that side. other side won't turn unless on jack stands

Have you inspected the axle shafts themselves to make sure the whole axle is rotating when you turn the wheel? If one axle breaks, the vehicle won't move. The axle stub has to be fully engaged into the transaxle also.
