Believe the truck is having problems shifting from low second to drive. Gas mileage has went way down and vehicle isn't making any unusual noises or whines. Was working fine about a week ago, then pulled on an 8000 pound cardboard baler to scoot it around at a 90 degree angle while it was lying down. The truck moved it, no problems until afterwards. Changed the tranny filter and fluid, help a little, not much. No fuel leaks anywhere, no sensor problems, etc. Thinking it is the shift solenoid. Have you mesured actual fuel miliage? Might be valve body issue or electrical issue in the transmission.
