so i have a 2002 chevy 1500 hd a couple days ago my transmission was shifting normal then one day it decided it wanted to shift hard in reverse the next day it was fine again then all the sudden the trans hot light was on and i got her home now the truck wants to go forward in reverse and neutral it wont even roll backwards when the trucks off blown trans or linkage ??????

Your trans overheated more then likely the whole thing welded togther thats why it wants to go forward in all gears.
