My automatic transmission has started slipping and i was wondering about how much it would cost to get it rebuilt if i take it and put in myself and just have the shop rebuild the transmission? You would need to ask locally and find out the two different prices AND especially any warranty concerns! I'm not a trans specialist but do recall from the stone age of school that they can be tested which was way before 1988. Like having eggs without the bacon.
