Ended up (no I didn't go there) being engine and trans mounts not right and all was somehow able to be installed but crooked? It totally messed up the way it drove and that was the problem and the fix, mounts. We don't have that vehicle here in the states, so you may have better luck in a forum dedicated to that vehicle. Grinding while shifting into another gear is usually caused by syncro issues inside the transmission if it only happens in one particular gear.
