It has a 2.4 liter engine, and I think the transmission is 6.04 or 6.40, I'm not sure. What I am trying to find out is where is the control module for this tranny located. Is it in the transmission, under the hood or on the transmission? I took it to a mechanic and had him run a diagnostic and that is the only code he got. I kind of think it might be fairly easy to get to because he is only charging less than $100.00 for the labor. The part is over twice that much. If it is in the transmission, I will have to let him do it, but if I can get to it I need to save as much as I can and do it myself. I am not a good enough mechanic to go inside the transmission. If anyone knos where this is located on the car, please let me know.
