Hello,
I have a Plymouth Breeze 1998 2.4L automatic with 90,000km
I've been having transmission fluid leaking lately and my mechanic said it's not problem....just needs to get a transmission kit and it would take him about an hour to fix it.
Problem is, when he got the part..he took aprt the old and when he went to install it he realized it didn't fit (wrong part). The parts dealer he got the kit from said they don't have what I need.
No he sounded worried and said he will look on monday and order it.
My question is, should this part be readily available?? My worry is is that the car was running well and now it's a useless pile of metal junk.
You think he'll have luck in finding this ?
Any answers will help me sleep tonight.

Just checked for auto trans filter and gasket kit at ...........

In stock and available and only one style listed if that's what you are installing. Some use a rubber seal for the filter and new one should come with another and two won't work TMK if that's the trouble??
