I have a 1989 Chevy 4WD silverado pickup truck with a 305, automatic transmission, and just over 150000 miles. The problem is that after driving about 3 miles (most driving is city driving between 30 and 55 MPH) of driving the truck revs but starts to lose power, like the gears are not shifting correctly, trans fluid is at the correct level....any ideas? Sounds like it's has some serious internal transmission problems and you need to get it to a trans shop before making it worse by driving it that way.
