Possible leak in cooler line Sign In

I have what I believe to be a leak in the transaxle cooler line, not sure if it is upper or lower. I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu, when changing my oil two days ago I notice that the cover that must be removed to reach the oil filter had good coating of what I thought was oil. I looked everything over and is seems to be coming from the one of the two hoses that run right above it. I have since scored the the repair manual and found pictures that label these hoses as the upper and lower transaxle cooler lines. There is no information about changing them though. The only place that even mentions them is were the book says they need to be remove in order the take out the transmission. I am assuming that this means it is a fairly simple job. My main issue is finding a new hose, nothing I have found online looks like what is in the car. The original is a metal tube that travels from the side of the radiator to the underside where it connects. This is where the leak seems to be, but everything online seems to only be rubber hose. Also if and when I remove the hose how much fluid can I expect to lose. Sorry if I have confused you all but thanks for any advise that can be offered.

These metal pipes can be cut and use rubber fuel injection line to repair it although it has to be secured real good. It would be best if you flared the line first to prevent the hose from slipping off but if you can't, then use 2 clamps on each end. You will lose only a minimum of fluid as long as you don't start the car with the line disconnected. It's under pressure when running.
