Re: No movement when I shift into D or R Sign In

I am still VERY suspicious that my fluid leak is from something not tightened right when my radiator was replaced two weeks ago. From this it seems that it would be quite possible that the radiator repair is linked to my sudden leakage of trans fluid:

link removed .... not allowed Please read the forum rules RULES

sure sounds like the mech who replaced my radiator might not have tightened connections involving the radiator to the transmission when they put in my new radiator.

I am meeting with the mech in the morning, plan to bring up the radiator as a possible cause, in as nice a way as I can.

I also met with the trans repair specialty company today, they will give a free diagnosis/estimate, so I will do that early next week if the problem is not resolved tomorrow when I meet with Tires Plus to see if they goofed replacing my radiator and inadvertently caused the trans fluid leak. The transmission mechanic explained how the radiator replacement could easily be the cause of the leak, that the leak may be where the radiator replacement mech did not properly do the connections to the trans, and that any leak at such a connection could and would flow down to where I am seeing it on the trans pan because that is the lowest place for fluid to collect and drip.

I sure hope it is an issue with the radiator, as that should be easily fixable by Tires Plus who replaced the radiator.
