hi i have a nissan sentra 2002 2.5 180 thousand miles i recently replaced the transmission and i knew the new transmission is good because i got it from another running car and i got a code p1574 and the transmission only goes forward and backwards somebody told me i have to take the car to the dealer so they can flash the computer with the new transmission and another mechanic told me probablly told me it is the selenoid can you tell me what can i do to fix this problem thank you

If the vehicle goes forwards and backwards, that is good thing. Most cars aren't designed to go up and down.

lol sorry i forgot to tell you the car only runs like 2o mph and it doesnt shift to the next gear and the rpm goes over 4000 and i have the code p1574 thank you

In layman's term:
The computer is watching the vehicle speed from two different sensors. One is in the transmission and the other is in the instrument cluster. Both them sensors should be reading the same speed, so the PCM can operate the cruise control. If their speeds are different, that code appears.
You probably have a compatibility issue or the TCM (transmission control module) isn't seeing vehicle speed from the sensor in the transmission. Did that transmission come out of the same year, make, model, and engine size vehicle as the one you have?

i got that transmission from a 2005 nissan altima 2.5 engine it is exactly the same for a 2002 nissan sentra 2.5 we checked all of the connectors and they are the same

You'll need to get it to a shop and have them put a scanner on it to look at TCM data stream information to see if the TCM is getting vehicle speed signal.
