while I had tranny pan and tranny filter off , I tightened the nuts/bolts in the filter area,to 10-15 ft pounds...
did this break anything? did this undo any critical adjustments? or band adjustment? thanks for your help

Ok.....what problem are you having now???

Sounds like you were just torquing the valve body bolts and unless you stripped one should really have hurt anything.... Band adjusters are locked with a sererate nut so unless you back off a nut & started turning a squared headed bolt you probably didn't change anything there.....

No offense but in some of these critical areas stuff you are sure about are sometimes best left alone.

No problems yet as it is an rv. Have to move this month tho and wanted re-assurance that nothing was messed up. You are the second to say that everything should be okay. Thank you.

Yup, you should be good......Don't forget to check those tires & other fluids as well and have good trip.
