When I come to a stop i have to wait a few seconds to go or it will slam into gear hard. It shifts fine and does not slip. Just seems like it goes into neutral. Could have a worn pump or regulator problem that doesn't provide enough pressure at engine idle speeds. It's also possible there is an internal leak causing low pressure at idle speed. If the pressure gets too low, the actuators and servos for the clutches and bands can't apply enough pressure to hold the apply components.
