I have an 87 Hyundai Excel 5 spd. 4 dr. sedan. The car doesn't want to go into gear sometimes. I can be driving down the road and start to go up hill and when i go to change gears i've got nothing. The same thing happends if im on a slant at a stoplight. I go to put it into first and its like im in neutral. i have no clue why it does this, and it only happends half the time. But its too unreliable to drive and it gets 34 mpg, and the 2 ton volvo im driving is costing way too much money to drive so ANY help is much much appreciated. THANK YOU
