Ford fusion transmission Sign In

I've had my car to two different local mechanics and neither have been able to help me.

I have a 2012 Ford Fusion. For the past month or two it will randomly act like it slips out of gear. I'll be driving down the road and all of a sudden it acts like it goes into neutral (it will rev up but wont go anywhere). The wrench pops up on my dashboard. When I pull over, it starts to shake really bad. I put it in park, turn it off for a second, and then turn it back on. It turns over more/longer than normal, but eventually catches and starts. And runs fine until the next episode. I've had it hooked up to the computer and there are no codes on it.. and of course it wont do it when a mechanic has it.

Any ideas??

Have you checked the fluid level?

Ok, so the trans is a 6 speed automatic called a 6F35, does this happen all the time or only when the car is hot? coming to a stop, does it feel like the car wants to stall out? What type of scanner are you using to pull codes? are you scanning the transmission or just the engine? Gary
