Car in gear but wont drive. No pressure in clutch Sign In

1988
Nissan
Pulsar NX
1.6 Liter
211,000 miles

I was stopped at a stop sign one day and i pressed on the clutch to shift my car but I felt a little pop when I pressed the clutch and then the clutch went through various phases of pressure and then fell to the floor. I was in first so I tried to drive but the car wouldn't go. I tried all gears but still no luck.

When the car is started I can shift into gear and I hear the transmission shift so I know its not that but the car will not drive. I checked my slave cylinder and it was bad and leaking fluid so I swapped it out. I have restored a tiny amount of pressure to the clutch but no matter how much I bleed it, the clutch won't get its full pressure back -- and the car still isnt driving while in gear.

What is wrong?

it's an external cyl. i completely removed the old one and put the new one in. Im not very knowledgable about the whole system itself. Is the clutch fork always supposed to be pushed out by the rod, or should it be closer to the cylinder?

The pressure plate should always default to engaged by spring loaded force. If it can't something is whacked up with it or broken parts. Probably wont know without going inside for a look,
