I have a 98 oldsmobile silhouette thats has been sitting in my drive way for 4 years now because the transmission went out. a tow truck guy came by and wanted to buy it for 350. We were asking 500. Should we go for the 350 or is that a rip off? thanks everyone! It's really up to you what you feel it's worth. If you feel it's too low then don't sell it. If this van was drivable then you could negotiate. Who ever buys it is either going to use it for parts or try and fix it & sell it. Either way there isn't going to a whole lot of profit it in for who ever does it.... Around here top dollar for this van from a wrecking yard would probably be $200 and they would pick it up. I don't know your area, if you have a lot buyer for this van.... hold out. If this is the only hit you've had in 4 years......you may want to rethink this offer.......
